Some Considerations on the Internal Peace

IN THE INTEREST of our shared humanity, for the common good of our one nation and the greater good of our region, I sincerely submit these present considerations hoping, as a citizen of this Republic, to add to the greater national effort to resolve the issues that stand in the way of our peace;

I BELIEVE that to truly address the grievances of our Bangsamoro brothers and sisters, we must actively ensure the long-term success of any decisions that shall define for our one nation, the shape of new things to come.

It is of paramount importance that we ensure today that the conflicts that mutually afflict us do not transmit into the generations of our tomorrow.

Therefore, any decisions that directly affect the lives of our citizens must never be a decision that is done out of haste or out of surrender to the frustrations that seem to incessantly plague our Country.

Where decisions directly affect human life, it must be ensured that all may benefit from the changes required in order for our people to adapt to the exact order of the present good and it's availability to our nation.

If it is required that we translate our unitary system of government into a federal system, we must ensure that it is viable not just as a solution to the struggle of the Bangsmoro people but also as a response to the greater struggle of our nation as a whole to obtain for our one people the benefits of self-governance and democracy;

1. A state must be economically self-sufficient and able to contain it's own executive vision and mission for the common good of it's local constituency and this particular vision must be aligned with the Federal vision and this particular mission allied to the Federal mission that is embedded in our national constitution.

Hence, if it is proven that the eleven states are not as such, the same eleven states because of the inherent size of their territory as well as the resources available therewith must form local cooperatives that shall serve their local interest which should constitute into the greater economies of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, symbolically also as the exact three stars on our Old Defiant.

Let us bear into mind that California is a single state within the Union that preserves the Federal Republic of the United States and this one state alone is about the exact size of our whole nation.

2. A Federal system will require bigger government. This could be a boon or this could be a curse. Public service is a calling not an ambition and this initiative is beyond our control.

3. The American Civil War was the result of the exploitation of the Federal system and it has taken more American lives that what America lost during WWII. If we are careless and this shift in our system of governance does not work to provide for our people even the least amount of benefit, given the growing frustrations of our people, the heroic patience of our long-suffering Filipino nation may bottom out and this it may leave our Republic vulnerable to outright disintegration.

We are composed of numerous cultural distinctions, from the least to the greatest, if we fail to recognize and accommodate these distinctions into our national constitution and absorb these lesser lines of departure into the unified strength of our Republic whole, we will remain fragmented and a fragmented citizenry in any Republic is the bane of this citizen-state. Thus, it is far better to have to endure imperfect laws and an imperfect government than for any Republic to wither away under the burden of the imperfect union of the heart and mind of it's own citizenry.

We must bear into mind that the natural order of our nations require a lineage of executive leadership, this is the eternal right of our kings and queens, but where our natural lineage of rulers, our kings and queens of old have fallen in battle whether in the field or against the enemies of our souls, we become an orphaned people. Because of this, the Republic citizen-state is by nature a guardian of the orphans of the peace and therefore, it must retain this nature of guardianship to remain loyal to it's own nature and specific mission. Because of it's inherent nature, all Republics are only compatible with a functional social democracy, this means that the will of the common people must be empowered as a necessary requirement of this particular endeavor of Country. A Republic leads by sacred trust, it makes it's majority choices on behalf of the minority and recognizes the unyielding hope that is inherent in it's founding. It's currency is it's good will, it's language is the truth and it's allegiance is to sacred life.

Our one true Country in Eternity is a divine monarchy, thus, the natural order of our nations also reflect this immovable reality. However, we must also be able to adapt to the dynamics of our constant struggle with the enemies of our souls that lay it's siege against the Kingdom within ourselves as well as the enemies of our nations that lay it's siege against the will of our peoples. For there is war in our midst and we must make sure that we preserve our peace.

Our experience of our world is an emergence in time, the status quo of our nations just the same as the motions of the stars in our skies, these are natural things and there is nothing extraordinary about them. They must simply be accepted by the value of their own natural truth. Where truth is lacking, it serves nothing and no one. Therefore, no nation can ever prosper without first being established in the particular truth that is peculiar to the unique and singular common experience of her people. It shall all eventually lead the same way, for life can not be inimical to life and no nation-state may exist without first caring for the life of her common people. Time itself is the measure by which God shall judge our particular endeavors of Country, and our own history is replete with examples of how the lives of our nations is just as uncertain as our own human lives, for the certitude of longevity that is proper to any Country depends on it's will to serve not itself. It's mission is to bear human life and all the generations of life unto the breaking of this world at the advent of all things new.

Thank you very much for your time and thoughts on this issue. I truly hope to have been of some assistance in this particular matter.

May Almighty God lead our people into safety and prosperity and may our sincere desires and prayers move Him to compassion that our nation may soon be blessed with peace for all our generations to come.

Prosper the Peace. Prosper the People.

Sancta Sanctis!

Glory to God in the highest
Adoration to Jesus Christ
Peace to men of good will.
