On the Holy Spirit

OUR HOLY FATHER BENEDICT XVI said that the most forgotten Person of the Most Holy Trinity is the Holy Spirit. Well, my precious friend, doesn't that sound like a challenge to our ears?

SINCE, this is also the Jubilee Year of our most beloved Saint Paul whose life after his abrupt awakening by our Lord at the road to Damascus is one continuous breath of the Holy Spirit of God. I believe that there is no opportunity better than this Pauline Year to discover in the actions of Saint Paul (in the Acts as well as his letters), our Apostle to the Gentiles, the interior acts of the Holy Spirit that has animated such a great Saint and Martyr of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

The Spirit of God - ever pregnant with the quicksilver breath of things meaningful and good - hovering above the waters of life bring tranquility and calm, causing the waters to become still and clear. This is in direct opposition to the empty air i.e. the spirit of the Adversary and his malignant hosts - knowing that spirits are timeless (finite as well as natural for the angels as well as their unhappy kin who are fallen with our fallen humanity by Satan's primordial lie but infinite as well as supernatural for the Spirit of God - the holy angels being made holy only because of the presence of God's sanctifying grace in their being which allows them to assume a supernatural life with God in eternity the same way with our human souls 1) during the moment of our baptism, 2) when we persevere in God's grace as well as 3) during absolution in the sacrament of reconciliation or penance at confession to our confessor who ministers to us as the Church and rightfully conferred by Jesus Christ, our capital grace, with the sacrament of Orders) may only have a location in time where they are working.

Again, knowing that spirits are timeless they may only have a location in time where they are working, or in biblical language - where the winds are blowing or where our LORD is breathing into life as He wills according to His unfathomable purpose of good for all mankind unto those whose souls He desire to quicken in Christ Jesus, our Savior. This is the same way with Satan and his malignant hosts, where this random, empty air blows - the whisperings of a lie as well as the accompanying accusations, murmuring of that same one lie at the core of every sin (which is why it is always infinitely better that we ourselves accuse ourselves before God of our own sins and repent with fruits of repentance than to become that same lie that had defeated our first parents and have hurled our common humanity into an abyss of death and suffering - the very self-same purpose the Incarnate Wisdom of God had instituted for us, His Church, the sacrament of reconciliation or penance); this evil and dark air, empty of promise, with actions mysterious as the Spirit of God is also mysterious but by the special grace of God are perceived by souls gifted to be able to perceive them in God, causes the waters of life to become turbulent and murky, stirring those human souls of universal friendship and common good will to God and to each other towards a greater and more lucid remembrance of the reality of our one Almighty God.

Now, to complete the picture of the similitude of the one Republic whole, the Sun or the Daystar is our one, triune God and the sunshine is the Light Inaccessible, illuminating the infinitely wonderful reality of the golden realm of our infinite LORD's eternity, subtle and mysterious in it's Holy Spirit interactions with the waters itself.

The Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit, promised by our Savior, Jesus Christ, and present during our original creation united with our Savior's Divine nature with our Father in Heaven as the one common Creator of our common creation being the We of the Elohim above the waters of the deep (in Genesis), and present also during Pentecost; this is the one, same Spirit that animates our Holy Mother Church yesterday, today and forever.

Is this not a cause for everlasting thanks and eternal gratitude to our Savior Who merited for us - His Church - in the Incarnation all of this grace? You decide but let us - one and all - remember always to cherish the Giver above His gifts.

I love you always. We love you always.

Prosper the Peace. Prosper You - the People.

Peace and Godspeed!

Sancta Sanctis: God's holy gifts for God's holy people.

Glory to God in the highest
Adoration to Jesus Christ
Peace to men of good will.
