Haiku #138: Sword x

Sword.

I know my rifle,
my rifle knows me, we're one,
we're one and the same.

I serve my Country
and my aim follows, I fight,
fall, I fade away.

Freedom knows me,
for I'm free.

Haiku #136: Boots x

Boots.

There's no taking ground
without Army boots, resound -
I walk Army ground!

Army boots pound ground
without Army boots, resound -
there's no Army ground!

Soldier boots,
Army ground!
