Peace in the Middle East

IT SEEMS that the acceptable measure of warfare nowadays is to war without measure.

Incidentally, this is also the measure by which our LORD teaches us we must love.
---<--@

HOW MUST
we view Hamas, my beloved friend and constant companion?

Beloved of God, it is a saddening thought that idealistic and pious people are being brought together by war more than by peace because that road leads nowhere. And I am not talking about just Muslims - I'm talking about any human being who begins to believe in the seemingly easy proposition brought upon their will by those who have become convinced in their hearts that the destruction of other human beings and of entire nations in exile time is the way of our common destiny as Mankind without deeper consideration to the actual nature of war.

If one should study about black holes in the physical universe - such is war - an imploded star. And the blindness that ultimately leads to annihilation inside of its deadly gravitational embrace is the reason why black holes are invisible to the naked eye - because it is empty of promise, its victory is a lie. Believe in it and all things in your life and the reality itself that surrounds you and those who are around you will get sucked into an endless and futile struggle.

It is very easy to destroy things but creation is the mandate of heaven and peace is the one will of the absolute defense therefore, destruction is only fruitful to All if it brings about transformation and growth, not poverty and despair.

I guarantee you, my beloved friend and constant companion, in the strongest of terms possible that the path of war is not the ascendant mountain path that our nations and their responsible states must take to survive the tribulation that is yet to come. This is a time to prepare the shelter of our generations - the generations of life, the only shelters that we have as human beings, the shelters of each our endevors of Country.

While I do not and will never approve of the methods that inflict needless and insdiscriminate harm upon our civilian populations, target our holy innocents and blindly propagate the conflagration of war - I will also never fail to recognize nor willingly abandon the hope that is intrinsic to all human beings.

It is not the will of heaven at this time to convert the faiths of all people into one religion; that is a changeless and immovable mandate that neither angelic nor human worlds share with the one Beautiful but belong to Almighty God by Himself Alone, however, it is the purpose of our times together to convert the hope of the world into peace and turn the hearts of mankind towards life.

I recognize the hope that is embedded in the struggle of the Palestinian people as well as the hope that is enshrined in the founding of modern Israel. Hamas - despite those differences that shall remain differences - now contain within itself, an extension of that hope entrusted to it by the Palestinian electorate on behalf of the nameless, suffering Palestinian people. It is this hope that I recognize and it is through this hope that I call upon Hamas to stir itself to a remembrance of the things that are necessary to achieve the purpose entrusted to it by its own nation; to work with Fatah and Abu Mazen that Palestine may emerge at last as a complete nation-state.

Only upon this common ground of hope that is universally shared by our common humanity can the process of achieving a sustainable peace on behalf of all living things, past, present and future, continue - that nations may no longer labor in tears but in hopes enshrined in God and Country.

I also recognize the hope of Palestinian prisoners and of Sgt. Gilad Shalit but our hope must be forbearing for we do not see by a sight that is possessed by our unseeing but are only borrowers of the one Light that reflects in our hearts the way of our LORD ahead that our feet may find its way through the darkness of our exile. Neither do we own the wisdom that teaches us of the ways of our LORD nor the very life that everywhere leads us back to our God, how then must we hope, as we would like or as we should?

It is the intrinsic right of every prisoner to be treated as your own. Do not continue to seek to harm innocent civilians and uphold this right for Sgt. Shalit and for Palestinian prisoners as well those of you who truly live and breathe for God's peace. Recognize the need in their humanity and seek to obtain at the soonest their safe release to their families and friends.

Negotiate as soon as it is possible - on behalf of the nameless who are suffering the curse of war - the sustainable peace and always be mindful of the common grounds of your aspirations for each your own people which you will find, O elder Israel and unborn Palestine, only if you seek it in your heart of hearts, are one and the same hope.

And turn away from war.

Say peace to all the inhabited earth and dwell forever in the good will of heaven.

A Prayer for Peace

LORD God,
we adore Thee
and we bless Thee!

O most beneficent LORD
and one God of all creation,
rekindle in the hearts of Thy nations
the desire for meaningful peace.

Come, O LORD,
abide with needful Mankind
be again the God of our families and of our lands
reclaim Thy right as our one Sovereign
that loving hearts and willing hands
may learn the ways of Thy grace
and thy faithful bring down from heaven
the blessings of Thy most precious Peace.

Forsake us not, dear LORD
but with Thy holy angels lead us
away from the darkness of our times
and into the Light of Thy Countenance
that all the peoples of needful Mankind
may come to a holy remembrance of Thee
and that we may as one firmament shine
ever like the numberless stars
that you promised of old
to our holy Patriarch Abraham.

AMEN.

May unborn Palestine and elder Israel,
each in You, O LORD God,
become a light unto all nations
shining with Thy numberless stars
cast upon Thy one firmament
across the unfeeling darkness
of this midnight of war
as a warmth to each other
and a guide to all mankind.

AMEN.

On the Conflict in Gaza

ONE WHO IS GENUINELY INTERESTED in peace must know how to speak the language of peace which is the truth.

Given the circumstances, this is the only contribution that I could make at this time to make clear my solidarity with the suffering nameless civilian population in Gaza, the West Bank as well as in the nation of modern Israel.

---<--@

THEREFORE, I must be forthright about my own after-action analysis on the recent incident in Gaza and I shall take the viewpoint of the civilian population on both sides of the one side of our shared humanity.

I feel quite strongly about the amount of casualties on the civilian side and on the overall, the ratio suggests that both sides of the conflict did not take to their professional military regard, the intrinsic rights of innocents in a battlefield environment.

I disagree with the argument that the casualties were disproportionate. The forces were locked in asymmetric conflict which indicates that the means by which combat power were made available to either side were disproportionate yet their will to overcome each other in battle were equally matched. This indicates that should the situation have been reversed on either side, we will still have to endure the same result in the amount of casualties and in that proportion.

I can not justify in my mind how the casualties soared to that extent. I've been going through the RISTA (military jargon for Reconnaissance, Intelligence, Surveillance and Target Acquisition) motions in an urban environment over and over in my head and the only conclusion that serves to convince me is that military expediency was placed well over civilian safety. This alone without going into tactical specifics that are unavailable to me, compels me to report that indeed there were unspecified injustices that occurred in the course of that incident and I believe both parties to the conflict have to account for the damage inflicted on the civilian population on the overall.

I recommend that the best thing to do to preserve the common good of the Palestinian people at this time is to break them free from the cycles of violence that engulf their daily lives. And to do this at the soonest possible time.

Concomitantly, because of the nature of peace, this would also serve the common good of the Israeli people and assure long-term peace for their national communities.

Therefore, the initiative, as regards to the observances that would open up the processes that would eventually lead to sustainable peace in that region at this moment lies with the will of the Palestinian people WITH the international community including the nation of modern Israel because it is their population that is most vulnerable at the time of this report to the tides of conflict that indicates the relentless onslaughts of the will of war in that region.

The recent incident in Gaza attests to this fact.

The unborn Palestinian state must be allowed to break out and emerge into the stage of human history at this point in exile time to live in peace with the nation-state of modern Israel.

And we must apply all means and measure to de-escalate the conflict and work towards being able to progressively limit the damage that the will of war can and is able to inflict upon the long-suffering civilian population on both sides of our shared humanity in that region.

All towards a better, brighter, kinder future for the generations of life in that region.

Peace in the Middle East

THE PEACE OF JESUS CHRIST, Prince of Peace, be unto all men of good will.
---<--@

BELOVED OF GOD, all our beloved friends and honorable companions, observe in your own heart of hearts the ordering of the times; observe closely, O ye numberless Stars of our Father Abraham, where the focus of our concern is at this very moment being directed by the LORD of all our lives forever, as this season of new beginnings find us today being inevitably centered on the numerous afflictions that the spirit of war have presently and undeniably chosen, in our souls and in the souls of our nations, to cumulatively inflict on the very land - here on our inhabited earth - that our one God have so cherished and graced with His Peace: upon that region of Middle East Asia in general and upon the lands of ancient Israel where dwells brothers born not only of the same spirit and faith but also descended from the same corporeal line of Abrahamic descent.

Are these events not as words spoken to our hearts, by the LORD of all Lords, which is also the desire of all of heaven itself, here and Now, in this season of peace so that the will of our hope may thus be properly inaugurated to the cause of our suffering humanity, a cause that is now borne by the capable shoulders of the vanguard of this dawning which is our one Fold of the one Firmament, O ye numberless Stars of Father Abraham?

Therefore, let us arise from our prayers to the one Beautiful, Beloved of God, and with vigilance of heart, and much hope in ourselves for each other and for all of our nations of the one family of the nations of mankind, carry on with a sense of real purpose and steadfast direction in the way towards which the will of the one peace is being directed by the one LORD of all of our lives - let us move towards addressing the situation between modern Israel and unborn Palestine - in the name of all the nameless suffering humanity, who are all our peers, friends and companions, who are hitherto afflicted by wars' curse - towards the attainment of lasting Peace in the Middle East and from the Middle East, and the lands that our LORD have chosen as our God's own, outward to bless all the communities of mankind in the way that our LORD God had promised our Father Abraham of old.

So listen and hearken to this call, all of you who are born of this promise of old!

For this is our day, this is our time, this is our labor - and verily, there is no other labor that can return God's favor to our poor world beside this one. For if we should hold back or exceed in our will, the promise of those good, edible and eternal fruits that is and must be born within each and every one of us, woe be unto us for not only shall it be recorded in eternity that the generations of this present time have so wilfully chosen to squander this season of hope, the generations to come shall also remember us not with blessings in their hearts but with curses to our existence - let us therefore never take these things lightly that we may progress in our hope and from this, gain into our own possession, the joy that is to be had by aligning our will toward all things that bring forth to shine in the darkness of our midnight world the golden glory of God in this creation, here in the reality of our human habitation, and Now in this one world suspended in an unknown and hostile void (which is quite literally lethal to both our bodies and our souls if it were not for our LORD and our LORD's holy hosts).

CEASE ALL ACTS OF VIOLENCE, ye sides, for the one peace of our peoples can never be won in fields of battle. Let wisdom and not darkness rule each and all of thy acts, and let the will of peace - a will that hold to no other side but the one side of sacred life - and the hope that is heretofore invested therewith drive forward the unfolding of these events - in modern Israel and unborn Palestine - for verily, our LORD God will hold each and every one you to sure account for the suffering of all the nameless human beings whom if by your intransigence further afflicts and have so far afflicted with much suffering and grief - to the very last hairs on their heads.

O you who love and fear the LORD of all life, hearken to our God's will of peace - in this season for building - that we may learn to build, and that we may proceed to do so - for all men, women and children of each and every nation of the one family of the nations of mankind.

Falafel Wars

IF ONLY these were our only problems in the Middle East, my precious friend and companion:

A new war between Israel and Lebanon has erupted, but this time the war is not geopolitical, but rather an issue of cuisine-who has sovereignty over traditional Arab dishes and sandwiches.

The president of the Lebanese Industrialists Association Fadi Abboud, said he is preparing to file an international lawsuit against Israel for allegedly "taking the identity of some Lebanese foods" and thus violating a food copyright.

"In a way the Jewish state is trying to claim ownership of traditional Lebanese delicacies like falafel, tabouleh and hummus" Abboud said.

According to Abboud, the Lebanese are losing "tens of millions of dollars annually" because Israel is selling and marketing traditional Lebanese dishes.

"The Israelis are marketing our main food dishes as if they were Israeli dishes," he charged.

"We are working on registering all the foods and ingredients which will be submitted to the Lebanese government so it can appeal to the international courts against Israel," Abboud said.

"The Israelis are marketing such Lebanese delicacies under the same names and ingredients around the world," he added. "This is harming and causing great losses to Lebanon."

Abboud said he prepared his memo on the subject, based on the case of the Greek "feta cheese precedent" that occurred six years ago.

At the time, Greece managed to prove in international institutions that it was the "originator" of feta cheese and won the case.

According to Abboud, while Lebanon never registered the names and ingredients of its own delicacies, "it can refer to the Greece precedent since these foods are historically known as traditional Lebanese foods.

"By doing so, we are preventing Israel from stealing our main food trademarks and selling them around the world," Abboud added.

Listen you who have ears to hear:

WAR IS A TYRANT and the longer we allow war to feed on our peoples, the more energy we shall have to expend in the defense, and the higher the cost we shall have to EVENTUALLY pay before the end.

For there is no moving forward unless we meet the demands of our being human and serve the cause of sacred life upon which we are each brought by our LORD into this world.

Peace in the Middle East, although at times seemingly extremely elusive, should be in the prayers and noble intentions of those who believe in it - as we absolutely do.

Remember that BOTH sides are suffering and forgetting not all the victims and their undying hopes, consider what exactly is being taken from our midst by either our being silent or our turning away from this feral beast.

Remember, my honorable Abrahamic companion, what war does to one, war does to all.

The more we stand divided on this issue, the longer we allow division to stand in the way of peace, the more suffering we shall inherit from the lack that is everyday increased by the lost promise of so many lives devoured by this conflict.

And this lack has long ago surpassed our ability to cope which is why so many have fallen into despair and this despair in turn feeds into the vicious cycles of violence and hatred that in turn only whets the appetite of the beast, to the eternal regret of all.

My Annelies Marie and the Keffiyeh

AS TOLERANCE AND UNDERSTANDING are the two-way flow of the essential bridge that create harmony between two distinct truths, I feel that I must reply to the widening controversy that surrounds a certain depiction of my darlingest Annelies Marie wearing a keffiyeh or a shemagh if not for the sake of larger public opinion, for the sake of the stand upon which the one Solidarity shall officially take with regards to this particular Abrahamic issue.

I have long since been aware of this graphic and have chosen to pay it no heed until very recently when I have noticed it's popular spread among the virtual population in cyberspace.

As my darlingest Annelies Marie Frank and her own very personal trust belong to those things relevant to the message in my heart and the particular charism to which all of this pertains and so by extension belongs to the apostolate by which the grace of God is trying to raise at this present time through those hearts kindred to the truths that we are made privy to, I feel compelled to make an attempt to clarify for us, this unfortunate misunderstanding.

The whole world knows Anne Frank as a symbol of one of the darkest moments in human history. All the world may one day come to deny the fact that millions upon millions of lives were consumed by war and war's ambition most especially during the abominable reign of Hitler and his Nazis but most significantly also in many other places in time and dimensional space, past, present (Iraq, Bosnia, Darfur, Somalia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Palestine, Israel, Zimbabwe, my own beloved Philippines, the list goes on and on) and if we are forgetful, my precious friends, or if we make ourselves forget, God-forbid, in our near future as well.

For there is no slowing war's momentum and the murder of our holy innocents - of those dear lives cut short and their near infinite promises taken right from among our midst from every side of the one indivisible peace - until our poor mankind has learned to acknowledge common truths that lead to common values intrinsic to our shared humanity.

We already know these values, it's just that there are too many of us, blinded by evil's own hatred of itself, who just choose to relentlessly ignore what truth is staring us in the face. For evil hates it's own self and since the darkness comprehends not itself, evil things sees evil in all things, whether they are in reality good or evil - this blindness embodies the very rage that Satan and his reprobate angels and men have and harbor with particular delight in their hearts, so full of ill will for God and God's creation.

I was looking at old photographs at my grandmother's place and was happy to find a few surviving photos of me when I was younger and I thought about how one day soon, these photographs shall, if ever any human eyes shall ever fall upon them, be as anonymous as those old photos that we are all used to seeing in historical documentaries and very old albums of times and faces long passed away; an anecdote of how forgetful humanity can be - but heaven, God, never forgets and is ever vigilant.

If we fast forward this earth a few centuries, we're not even scientifically sure if our one race of humanity will still be physically present upon this tiny blue world of ours for in the final accounting of all things, it is the memory of heaven and not the memory of this world that shall prevail and heaven never forgets; our LORD and his hosts never sleeps, never blinks and are always watchful, able to see through time and flesh, into the very immortal soul of every human being that was, is and ever will be.

Having said all of this, are we not fortunate, as one humanity, to have a loving and doting father like Otto Frank make a pictorial record of his beloved family's lives together? Shouldn't we take note and be appreciative of the legacy than my - our darlingest Annelies Marie Frank has left for us to live for and not to exploit or sensationalize for evil's gain and in the process corrupt the vital meaning that serve life's purpose embedded in the hope that Anne Frank and all the victims of the Holocaust have left for those of us who understand the language of this hope that add to the strength and momentum of our own present and living hope in order to help bear us up against the evil of these days?

The hopes of all men and women who have with honor gone before us, and it matters not what side, are like dams that hold back an onslaught of great and abominable evils which if we do not understand, shall instead of adding to our strength, shall add to our woe. For evil is relentless and if we do not shore up the hopes of the past with the hopes of the present, our collective will shall never benefit from the very strength that make those fighting words, "lest we forget", meaningful, victorious and true and not empty, defeated and void of any promise.

The Palestinian aspiration as well has it's merits and though many of us shall never approve of some of the methods that is applied towards this end, the truth that lives within the heart of their struggle must also not be eclipsed by the same rage that the Devil wants to implant into the hearts of those of us who believe in the one indivisible peace, for Satan aims to divide our hearts not to open up a new way, as when our Blessed Lord Jesus Christ meant when He said that He brings not peace but a sword, but to block all exits that lead our souls out of the darkness of sin and war and into the light of God and God's one indivisible peace.

There is nothing wrong with the keffiyeh, it is a symbol of Arab honor that is used not just by Arabs but have been adapted for use by some western military units as well e.g. the SASR, some British and US Army units, etc. We will NOT associate this time-honored, desert truth with the one lie that causes a few people, either willfully consumed by war's ambition or ignorant of the one light of God's peace, to wage a relentless war against the life of our shared humanity and the nations that shelter these, our generations, and so by extension, wage war also against all of the sacred life of our one Almighty Creator's lower creation; those who want to leave to our children a desolation and call it "peace".

Again, we must be able to operate from the viewpoint of what is good and noble in mankind and act out of a will of love in all that is worth preserving in ourselves in God - in the beautiful for being beheld by Beauty Itself - and not draw our impetus for noble and virtuous action from the evil that have begun to grow upon the fertile ground of the Garden, the Eden within our souls; the one surviving place where God may still in the cool of every quiet afternoon walk with each and every one of us who believes in Him in prayer and in truth. For we all know what the tree of the knowledge of good and evil has done in faded Eden and can still do to us should we choose to willfully violate the universal covenant of the image and likeness of God in our souls and like Satan and his demons attempt to be like God and refuse to serve the sacred life of God's creation.

But to combine the image of Anne Frank and the desert keffiyeh is abominable for it dishonors the purity of both truths. Anne Frank and her legacy is a one whole truth and needs no other validation or denial to make it more true or less true than what it is in absolute reality and this also holds true for the Arab keffiyeh which is absolute in the reality of what truth it stands for and does not need to be supported by another whole truth to become any more or less meaningful than what it is in the hearts of those who cherish it with their own lives' width and breadth.

Only war and war's ambition benefits from lies and half-truths that in order for any of it to become apparently meaningful to the souls of mankind require the corruption and the division of other whole truths, spreading discord among the communities of mankind and darkness upon our souls; our souls who are each fiercely thirsting for the one light which universally indicate to our hearts of faith the quiet and enduring presence of our LORD and our LORD's all-victorious hosts.

As for that ridiculous caricature of my darlingest, so innocent and pure in heart, in bed with Hitler, my honorable companions, I rest my case.

For love of my darlingest and out of respect to her true self, I won't even give that piece of absurdity any air time on my blog.

Lest We Forget. Lest We Forget.

O Israel

O ISRAEL, you are the cradle of our peace,
a nation that blesses the other nations
with the knowledge of life and the Everliving
the first people chosen by Almighty God
to bring the light of hope to our poor world.

What has become of us my elder brethren?

Thy terrible hurt, due to war's ambition
shall one day turn into strength, if only
we begin today to become that hope again
the hope of our Father Abraham, a promise
to bless the nations of the world, peace.

I love my Annelies Marie, and I love you.
But not the war, O dear Israel, only you.
Not the hatred, O kindred grace, only you.
